Bio

Giorgos is an Associate predominantly working in the transactional department of our Firm. Prior to joining the Firm, Giorgos gained experience across several jurisdictions, most recently serving as part of the legal team at a fund services group in Luxembourg.

Recent Work

Giorgos’ recent experience includes advising:

A Luxembourg-based alternative investment fund manager, on the drafting and negotiation of AIFM, investment advisory, RC and portfolio management delegation agreements including compliance with AIFMD and CSSF Circulars.
A Luxembourg-based fund services group on the drafting and negotiation of administration and depositary agreements, including compliance with CSSF Circulars, GDPR and Luxembourg Companies Law.
Alternative investment fund structures on corporate governance matters, including the preparation of board and shareholder resolutions, minutes, Powers of Attorney and the management of periodic KYC reviews and AML compliance processes.
On the review and negotiation of supplier contracts and Non-Disclosure Agreements, as entered into by an international group with third-parties across Luxembourg, England, Jersey, Guernsey, and USA.
On cross-border transactional matters, including the review and analysis of loan agreements and other transactional documents in the context of AIF administration and fund structuring work.
