• United Energy Group on the acquisition of Apex International Energy Holdings I, holder of upstream oil & gas concessions in the Western Desert, for $150 million;
• VAALCO Energy Inc., on its acquisition of Svenska Petroleum Exploration AB, a Swedish-based offshore oil company, for a net purchase price of $40.2 million;
• Unilever plc, on its acquisition of premium biotech haircare brand, K18;
• Accor, the French hospitality group, in connection with its acquisition of a minority stake in the France SailGP Team and the establishment of subsequent supply arrangements;
• Mediawan, the French media conglomerate, on its majority investment in the See-Saw Films group, a British-Australian multi-award winning film and television production group;
• Velocys plc, a sustainable fuels technology company, on its takeover by Madison Bidco, a new company owned by a consortium comprised of Carbon Direct Capital, Lightrock, GenZero and Kibo Investments;
• Marlin Equity Partners, a private equity firm, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Cloud Technology Solutions, one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing Google Cloud partners, for £100 million;
• TriSpan, a global private equity firm, on its investment in Mowgli Street Food Group;
• VAALCO Energy, Inc. on its business combination with TransGlobe Energy Corporation to create a world-class African-focused exploration & production company listed on exchanges in New York and London;
• Bain Capital Credit, L.P., global leading investment firm, on the acquisition of 80% of AQ Compute and the resulting joint venture with the Aquila Group to build a leading European sustainable data centre platform with a targeted multi-billion Euro investment volume;
• PETRONAS, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, on the sale of its South Sudan business for $1.25 billion;
• Beazley Plc, FTSE100 insurance company, on its equity fundraising for £385 million through a cashbox placing;
• PETRONAS on the sale of 100 percent of the capital stock of PETRONAS E&P Argentina S.A. to Vista Energy, S.A.B. de C.V. and Vista Argentina S.A.U. PEPASA; and
• Roundhill Capital on its €1 billion European platform joint venture with CPPIB, to invest in student housing projects across Europe.
