Maria Koumi

Associate

Bio

Maria is an associate who joined Kaimakliotis LLC in 2021. She graduated from the University of Warwick, where she obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) in 2016 and she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2017. She is also a holder of a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) on European Commercial Law from the University of Cyprus.

Recent Work

Maria’s recent experience includes:

  • conducting due diligence exercises with respect to a number of transactions involving Cypriot entities and issues;
  • advising on financing, security provision and issuance of legal opinions; and
  • advising of general corporate actions and restructuring and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
