Alex’ recent experience includes:
- Advising a global software company, in all aspects of Cyprus employment, regulatory and migration law matters;
- acting as legal advisor for a Cyprus Investment Firm on all regulatory aspects and dealings with CySEC;
- acting as legal advisor of a Cyprus Insurance Broker Firm on all regulatory aspects and dealings with the insurance regulator;
- advising DP World Port Limassol in various aspects of Cyprus employment law matters;
- advising a global mobile games developer company, on various aspects of Cyprus migration and competition law matters;
- advising a global telecommunication manufacturer on regular updating on Cyprus ESG regulations;
- advising a global marketing company on all aspects of Cyprus consumer protection laws;
- advising the potential purchaser of a Cyprus Investment Firm on all regulatory aspects of the acquisition and change of control;
- Syngenta on its acquisition of relevant assets of the Cropio Group, an Ag Tech company with a presence in over 50 countries;
- Group companies on their redomiciliation and/or tax residency actions into and out of Cyprus;
- Galileo Global Education and Providence Equity Partners on all matters of Cyprus law with respect to the acquisition of European University Cyprus from Laureate Education, one of the largest and most complex transactions in Cyprus in 2017;
- advising an undisclosed bidder with respect to the proposed acquisition of National Bank of Greece’s subsidiary bank in Cyprus;
- advising an international deepwater drilling group on Cyprus elements of its restructuring programme;
- advising on a number of EU-wide cross-border mergers involving Cyprus-registered companies;
- advising an international online payments services provider on regulatory-AML compliance of its potential activities in Cyprus;
- drafting and reviewing sale and purchase related agreements;
- advising clients on IP related matters.
- advising on general corporate actions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
- advising on private client matters, including immigration law, inheritance planning and property law;
- conducting due diligence exercises with respect to a number of transactions involving Cypriot entities and issues; and
- advising on formation, ongoing administration, and dissolution of companies registered in Cyprus.
